The "Communicating Astronomy 101 Course/School 2010" (linked to the IAU CAP2010 conference) started today in Cape Town.
The school is organized by Dr Ricky Olivier and Kevin Govender, and is hosted by the SAAO.
What an absolute blast – so much inspiration for future outreach activities that I can't wait to get my hands on a member of the public. And this has just been Day 1!
Check out the delightful "A Star's Life" demonstration on YouTube.

Nice entry. It was a great few days!
It was good to meet the man behind the famous psychohistorian website.
