Saturn, the Moon and Regulus at dusk, 2007 June 19

by Auke Slotegraaf

The Moon midway between Saturn (bottom-left) and Regulus (top-right), on Tuesday evening. The bright star at far right is Algieba (gamma Leonis). Eta Leonis lies near the centre of the frame. The images are slightly trailed because the exposure was four seconds long (F=96mm, f/5.6).
