2007 January 23, Tuesday. From the Magaliesberg. "This is probably the best I have seen the comet of all the sites I have been to", Mauritz writes. "Frikkie and I went to a location, on to of the Magaliesberg, south-east of Rustenburg to try and see if we can get a better view of the comet. The ~230km there and back was worth it."
Mauritz used a Canon EOS 350D to take the image, including a charming one of the comet posing with himself and Frikkie.
