2007 January 19, Friday. Taken at 19:50 from Northcliff Hill (Aasvoëlkop, 1807m above sea level) in Johannesburg. Oleg notes that his Sony DSC-P71Digital still camera, which has taken over 10,000 pictures in its lifetime, is still going strong. The comet, he writes, has become a great event for promoting astronomy, "and I suspect it will be the most photographed comet ever, thanks to digital photography!"
