NGC 6302, the Bug Nebula

"A quick snap", as George put it, of NGC 6302, a planetary nebula in Scorpius. The 20-minute exposure beautifully shows the bipolar nature of the nebula, described in a 1912 Egyptian observation as "two curious horns attached to a star."
