Equipment: 12-inch SC f/10 & 16-inch SC f/10 (95x, 218x)
Description: A clear grouping of stars that stand out against the background star-field. Somewhat oblong north to south of which the four brightest stars situate to the north with an average of 7 magnitude. Six fainter stars complete this grouping. These stars resemble a mother bird and little baby bird with their wings open in flight. Comment: Guide search then visually; sketch done. Magnitude estimate: 11.0. Size estimate: 20.0 arcmin.
