Location: Alldays (22.50S, 20.12E, 770m).
Equipment: 12-inch SC f/10 (95x)
Description: A wide semi-circle of stars, although faint it stand out proudly against the busy background stars-field. It is made up of some 10 stars of varying brightness of between 7 and 10 magnitude. A prominent 5.7 magnitude star can be seen east to round it of. This reminds me strongly of a Japanese fan and is approximately 40 arc minutes is size. Comment: Guide search then visually; sketch done. Size estimate: 41.0 arcmin.
